MISSION
The mission of the Odem Police Department (OPD) is to work respectfully with the community to reduce crime, the fear of crime and enhance public safety. OPD works together with the community to find different methods in fighting crime. Our goal is to have a strong Community Policing Organization where officers and the public operate together.

Gerardo Ochoa
The Odem Police Department was established in October 17, 2018. Chief Gerardo Ochoa is our first Police Chief for the City of Odem. Chief Ochoa has served the State of Texas for 23 years as a peace officer.
